I was told by my college professor I should write as often as I can. I hate writing but don't seem to mind it when I smoke pot.
So here goes my thoughts... Please be gentle.


Today I talked to my mom about religion, that didn’t go to well and she worried I don’t believe in God
Well I do... And even more after having watched that movie I did.
I know there is a god I just do not know if it’s the one the catholic / Christian religion has been telling me since I was little.
Apparently, the story of Jesus was a story that was told thousands of years before Christ. And not by Christians or by Catholics but by Egyptians Greeks, and The Hindu. For something like that to propagate through history must mean that the event was so powerful that it survived the tests of time. This to a realist mind would suggest that yes there was a creator who sent his son to die for the human race. On the other hand, earth? I do not think society throughout time kept the same story some added to it and others took from it. For example if you have a piece of paper with directions to a store and someone with a hole puncher started punching holes through it eventually you will have a map that has holes through parts of the lines you are to follow and you can easily lose your course. That is what the bible really is it’s a map plotting our course through our lives the way GOD intended it. Now man has gone through and punched out those lines so we still have the map and we know or have some idea of where we are going and where we need to be but if we are not careful we can get lost. This wasn’t the intention of God because that would make us an experiment and we as a species are too complex for something like that. The only true "gps" that we posses that will get us there and closer to God or the achievement we are seeking it is our mind. Plain and simple if we just pay attention to that little voice that tells us that there is more to it we would learn and find our way around our life like God intended. People learn to trust others little voice and not realize that the voice is proprietary to the person. My voice cannot be used to guide my neighbor through his journey because we are going to different places. That little voice in our heads should be acknowledged when a preacher tells us we are living our lives in such a way that earns gods disapproval. Why not ask how? Where does it say the God said it? If Jesus said it and he is the vessel through which god sends messages to us where does it show him saying it? Most likely, they cannot unless your problems are of greed or possessions. Other than that they would be quoting another man....
So after I got home and settled down to smoke a bowl and listen to some music maybe watch a movie. (My wife went out with her friends ) I don’t mind it since it gives me time to do things I like without having to hear "what are you doing" or Come closer. Don’t get me wrong who doesn’t want their spouse to want to be with them. I love that about her but only when I am in the mood ; not when she is comfortable and so am I and she all of a sudden remembers I’m in the room and wants me to come over and move from my comfortable pose. I digressed.
I was on the bed about to light up when I heard a bang the TV was on the lights were off and the bang came from my window. Was someone trying to break in? I stood quiet for a minute to see if the dogs bark or anything so I can go for my gun. Well nothing except a rustling noise. I approached the window and when I drew the curtain there sat a white dove on my windowsill. This was at a 1030 at night. In Florida, I have never seen a white dove these doves are usually tan. I went to get my daughter because I was a little shocked. In addition, I wanted a witness, I went outside and managed to touch the bird I noticed he had a red metallic bracelet around his or her foot. There was a slight bend or disfigure on its foot so I went to the garage for gloves and the dogs crate so I can take the dove in and care for it until it can fly again. Well once I went back outside with the gloves on and the cage the dove flew off into the yard and then up on my roof. I then went inside to call Lia and make sure she is safe and then to call my mom to tell her about it. What did this incident mean? Was it a coincidence that a white dove would escape a cage and fly into my window at 1030 at night? Unlikely but on my belief I think this was God letting me know hey I exist I am here and you seem to be filling in the holes on your map. Before the incident I tucked my son into bed and prayed he was a little upset cause he had to go to bed. In my prayer I remember saying God I know you sent someone to redeem us I just don’t know If I have to day in Jesus name or whose name. So if it is Jesus who came for the Christians and Horus for the Egyptians then Christianity is true but with saying that you need to also say that ALL religions are true including ancient ones. Religion should be called the search because that is what we do, we search for answers that eventually will fill those holes in our maps and get us to our destination. Man ruined religion by allowing his voice to get to loud in his head where others started overhearing it and not hear their own voice. I believe God wants us to be with him perhaps as angels and not just people. Perhaps we will be the angels that will reset the stage for the next group of species that inhabit the earth. Religion was ruined by man’s greed and desire for power to control the masses. And religion is the best weapon in that arsenal it is a method of scaring the people to do what you say or else. To scare them into thinking they will suffer for eternity after they die. God will not allow that because he cares about us. If not why go through all the trouble of watching us kill torturer each other and even ruin his earth. It’s like having a puppy that decides on chewing your sofa if you see him doing it then you will move him away so he will stop. Some people have no tolerance and get rid of the puppy all together where some will train the puppy and eventually allow the dog to sit on their couch. That’s us as people we are the puppy that bites the couch. The couch being our planet if we don’t play nice we can be kicked out or corrected and trained which eventually will give us a place to feel safe in.
Today is 3 days before I turn 32, God confirmed to me, hey dude I am here, I heard what you said, and I like your thinking. You finally got it man it took you 32 years but you got it. Yeah I am sure there is a God but No I will not go to a church where they try to force feed you their beliefs and guilt you into accepting them. That is not what it is about. Whenever you hear, someone tell you how it is. Remember that this is their voice telling you that and not yours so ask how so, why, where, and then go research it. Never take a person’s words as facts always question them. Doing this will fill those holes on your map. Good luck and see you when you get there.
